Welcome to the Summer Series of Sacraments! This month we will feast with St. Anthony of Padua and Sts. Peter and Paul, memorize the Anima Christi prayer, and learn about the sacraments. Our monthly boxes empower you to build a Catholic culture in your home and share our beautiful faith with your children. We are all on this journey to sainthood together!
Feast Day #1: St. Anthony of Padua (June 13th)
St. Anthony of Padua Art
Each month your crate includes two art prints to help you celebrate your feast days. On the back of your lovely print, you can find feast day information to share with your little saints. Display these on the feast day, or all month long. Collect these prints for years to come.
St. Anthony of Padua is the patron saint of lost or stolen items, the poor, and priests. To celebrate his feast day, we invite your little saints to pretend to be St. Anthony for an afternoon. You will find an outdoor scavenger hunt of lost things in your crate. Take a family walk and find everything on the list to reveal a lost word!
St. Anthony of Padua Prayer Card
There's a special prayer card in your crate this month! Encourage your saints in training to learn the prayer that Catholic families have used for years to find lost items.
Feast Day #2: Sts. Peter and Paul (June 29th)
Sts. Peter and Paul Art
Sts. Peter and Paul are two of the most influential apostles in Church history.
Guess the Saint Game
Do we really know who Sts. Peter and Paul are? Play “Guess the Saint” with your little saints to find out more about these saints.
Catechesis Corner: Sacraments of Initiation
Scrambled Sacraments Game Part I
This summer your crates will focus on bringing the basics of the sacraments into your home through an interactive game: Scrambled Sacraments. Over June and July, you will receive all seven sacrament cards with information about each sacrament on the back. You will also find a fun stack of cards with symbols for each sacrament. This month includes the sacraments of initiation: Baptism, Holy Communion, and Confirmation.
Beautiful Words: Anima Christi
Anima Christi literally translates to “Soul of Christ.” This sacred prayer takes us deeper into our relationship with Christ. It is a wonderful prayer to recite after communion, during adoration, and before bedtime as a family. We hope the words lead you into a deeper union with Christ.
Virtue Chat Table Topper: Prudence
Each month we will focus on a particular virtue as a family. Put this table topper wherever you eat meals together and use it to guide daily conversation. Read the brief reflection and discuss what things immediately pop into your head. Invite each person at the table to share their insights. There are NO wrong responses. We are all learning together. As a family, show generosity and gratitude to each person who shares. This is a beautiful way to unite our families and develop strong character.
Each month includes a playlist full of beautiful music. We encourage you to play the music in the car, at home during the day, during bath time, while cleaning--basically in the background of your normal everyday life.
