St. Lawrence

St. Lawrence

It’s time to celebrate!

August 10th is the Feast Day of St. Lawrence!

St. Lawrence was a deacon and martyr known for his dedication to serving the poor and his sense of humor! In second century Rome, political leads didn’t like Catholics and eventually Lawrence was arrested and sentenced to death. He was tied on top of an iron grill over a slow fire, but St. Lawrence showed no fear! Instead he told the judge, “I am cooked on that side; turn me over!”

Ready to celebrate this brave and fearless saint? Good news… a festive feast doesn’t need to be fussy!

If you are a monthly crate subscriber, don’t forget to…
