Happy Easter Season! (Yes, I can still say this to you because Easter season is 50 days long in the Catholic Church!! Need more ideas to keep celebrating? Click here for some Easter goodies.)
In addition to celebrating the joy of the resurrection, we also celebrate St. Bernadette on April 16th! God called this little girl to be one of his youngest saints. She witnessed multiple miracles and apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Lourdes. To this day, pilgrims travel to Lourdes from all over the world to visit this holy site. Here are a few ways to celebrate Bernadette today:
- Bernadette loved the rosary! Pray the rosary (or just one Hail Mary).
- Take a virtual “pilgrimage” to Lourdes online.
- Wear blue and white in honor of the colors Mary wore when she appeared to Bernadette.
- Print you FREE coloring page for your saints in training.
- Bake a French treat. Do I smell croissants, macaroons, or fruit tarts??? 🥐
St. Bernadette, pray for us! Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us!
