Elissa Tiprigan

Founder & Creative Director

Elissa Tiprigan lives in a tiny house in Littleton, CO with two little ones and one tall husband. After completing her financial planning work and managing her AirBNB empire each day, Elissa squeaks just enough time in to run Catholic Family Crate- without coffee no less! When she isn't frantically trying to convince the world that there should be a 25th hour in the day, she dreams of living in a school bus and homeschooling her kids.

Fr. Nathan Cromly

Spiritual Advisor

Father Nathan Cromly is a priest with the Brothers of St. John in Denver. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Father Nathan is the founder of Eagle Eye Ministries and the Saint John Institute. He uses his rich experience in ministry and entrepreneurial business to guide and encourage Catholic Family Crate. Whenever he can, he enjoys reading St. Thomas Aquinas and cross-country skiing.

Fr. Luis Granados

Spiritual Advisor & Theological Editor

Fr. Luis Granados is a priest of the Disciples of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary (DCJM). He serves as a professor at St. John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver and in residence at St. Mary Catholic Church in Littleton, CO. He is the author of From Ash to Water: Meditations on Lent and Water from the Rock: Meditations from Palm Sunday. Fr. Luis was born in Spain and is the fifth of seven children. Three of his four brothers are also priests! He loves playing the guitar and soccer.

Pauline Meert

Montessori Educator

Pauline Meert is a co-founder of Sophia Montessori Academy, a Catholic Montessori school in Denver and lends her expertise to create and review activities for Catholic Family Crate. She received her international Montessori diploma, a Master’s degree in Montessori education, and is trained in level one of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. When she is not in the classroom, she enjoys swing dancing, sewing, reading, and spending her time with friends and family.

Irene O’Brien

Montessori Educator

Irene O’Brien is a co-founder of Sophia Montessori Academy, a Catholic Montessori school in Denver and lends her expertise to create and review activities for Catholic Family Crate. She took her Children’s House training, completed Montessori training for the Elementary Level, and is trained in level one and two of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. She is delighted to bring the joy of discovery to children through the Montessori approach. When she is not planning lessons, you can find her playing music, cooking, hiking or dreaming up a new adventure.

Julianne Miles

Julianne (Jules) Miles has a Masters in Theology from the Augustine Institute and an Undergraduate degree in Theology from Mount St. Mary’s University. Jules is trained in level one of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and has been a catechist for five years. She has been featured in a variety of video and audio series at the Augustine institute, including YDisciple, Opening the Word, and Forgiven. She currently lives with her husband, Ryan, and their four sons in Littleton, CO. She is also the author of The Mineral Maniacs, a children’s book on mining!

Blair Piras

Sacred Artist

Blair Piras is a sacred artist; she studied at the Sacred Art School Firenze, a figurative art school focused on training artists in the Catholic tradition of sacred art with a particular focus on Theology of the Body in Florence, Italy. She writes about historical Sacred Art for Catholic Family Crate. Blair lives in Pittsburgh with her husband, and she enjoys dance parties in the kitchen while baking and cooking, being outside (especially when bird watching is involved), and reading. Jane Holman

Managing Editor

Jane Holman is a recovering Notre Dame lawyer and loving mom to four vivacious children. When not editing for The Catholic Family Crate, she enjoys browsing used bookstores, binge listening to podcasts, cocktail hour, torturing her family with her piano playing, hiking the beautiful Colorado trails, reading along with her beloved Well-Read Mom group, and going on dates with her favorite person, her husband Dave.

Whitney Whitham

Writer, Editor, and Odds & Ends

Whitney Whitham is a wife and mother who lives in Steubenville, OH. Much like her role at Catholic Family Crate, her professional life includes a myriad of experiences like consulting, writing, teaching, and property management. When she isn't wrangling a toddler or writing for Catholic Family Crate, she loves whipping up decadent chocolate desserts and roasting every vegetable imaginable. Paige Burton

Director of Marketing

Paige Burton lives in Houston, TX and enjoys hiking, finding new singer/songwriters, traveling, and experiencing new cultures. More than anything, she loves her Catholic faith, friends, and family, and she strives to bring her Catholic faith into her corporate office job. When she is not at work or working on Catholic Family Crate, you can find her running, chatting on the phone, making eggs for dinner, or greeting new neighbors with Sopapilla Cheesecake.

Mark Pape

Illustrator & Graphic Designer

Mark Pape is a happy husband and father of two, graphic designer, adventure photographer, and Jeep enthusiast. He’s also an avid hiker with almost twenty fourteeners (a mountain peak with an elevation of at least 14,000 ft) bagged. Mark graduated from the Art Institute of Colorado and loves using his skill set to help advance the Church through Catholic Family Crate. You can check out Mark’s diverse portfolio of work here.

Mark Pierce is a nationally recognized leadership mentor, coach, and speaker. His business knowledge and love for his Catholic faith come together to support and guide Catholic Family Crate’s mission. He’s the founder of several companies. including E5Leader.com, LLC and E5 Leadership Academy. When he’s not helping others become better leaders, you’ll find him spending time with his wife and four children, golfing, fishing, and supporting charitable causes.
